Today it was cold here in Iowa, a balmy 4 degrees. When I went to punch my first hole of the day with my jiffy, the throttle trigger broke. Fortunately there is enough left to hold the cable pin allowing me to keep using it. The only downfall was over throttling the auger causing a loss of power. My auger is only a month old and hasn’t punched 100 holes yet.

Not sure but I want to say the issue was plastic mixed with cold temps. Anybody else have this problem? How has jiffy been in resolving service issues? Replace plastic with more cold friendly materials?

    Thanks

This is a first time I have every heard of this happening. I have ran one without problems in way colder weather. Call them and let them know what happened and they will have a new one out in no time. If your doughting me do a search and it will be obvious that this is not a problem.
