I’m getting a wheel house at the end of the month. I’ve been researching generators and had been considering the Honda 2000 and Yamaha 2000. I was at Costco this morning and saw a Smarter Tools AP2000 generator which has a Yamaha engine. Price was $599. Does anyone have experience with these?
Also, I know of several places that have the Honda’s for $899. Does anyone know where a person can get the Yamaha for $899 or so?

We have the Yamaha 2000 and have been really happy with it. The best price I found was at Larson’s Cycle in Cambridge.
Call here… ask for Mike (owner), tell Chuck (Cycle USA guy) sent ya. $799 plus I assume shipping, maybe tax for the 1000 version. He may have a deal on the 2000 that he has not listed.
