The baby boy and I just got done watching our favorite show and am wondering if we can get the “lakemaster” spot on the spot feature to return to the show. Unfortunatly I am a 1-2 times a week or less fisherman, like many on here by priority not choice. My biggest downfall is location of fish related to the seasons, since I may only get out a couple of times during a certain period or season. I love watching the nice fish come through the hole however if im not on the water I try to use these other venues to learn as much as I can. I do really like how the show is becoming as current as possible to the actual date of airing. Good for us probably awful tough for the producers and cameramen

Trophyhunter – thanks for the suggestion but we can’t bring back that type of graphic given they take an incredible number of man hours to produce. Simply, we just don’t have enough time between shooting the shows and airing the shows to get that fancy. I wish it wasn’t the case but with most shows filmed less than a week before they air we’re quite limited with the amount of “fancy” we can put in a show.

That said, given that this is our first season of airing the shows “same week” you can count on us getting better at finding ways to get more and more detail and info into the shows in the future. We’re just getting rolling and flexing our muscles and learning how to manage these tight production deadlines. As we get more comfortable with it we will let the creativity flow.

I have to say I look forward to your show every week! I may not be able to watch it live so it’s always recorded on the DVR. You guys have set the bar high, always current and deliver the latest techniques and newest technologies. Ice fishing TV shows have come and gone and I hope to see your’s continue to be televised for years to come. Thank You and keep up the great work!

James: Are you limited to a certain number of shows per season with the film/show each week thing? Just wondering if I will ever get to see an open water show – or if your current filming season will end before that heppens? …I hate hard water season and would prefer open water shows!

We do 13 weeks of ice and 13 weeks of open water. Today we aired ice show 9 of 13. We switch to open water early February 4 weeks from now. Open water shows are on the way.

James–Are there any plans for a wider geographic distribution on other television networks throughout the Upper Midwest? I realize episodes can be viewed on the computer but am wondering nonetheless.
