Better Feeling??

    Is there a better feeling of being on the ice on a perfectly calm morning and that sun comes up over the horizon, shining on your back and then you see that bottom start to move and a red mark comes fireing out and smokes your jig??? If there is please tell me haha

    My story starts the same, but involves the first flock of ducks coming into my spread. The whirrrrr of air as it cuts the flight feathers of a greenhead is music.

    I would have to say yes to the first but here in SW Michigan WE ARE HAVING A THAW!!!!!! Darn weather. It is 43 f` right now and we are supposed to get a huge rain shower. I wil agree though and day when you get to watch nature wake up is a great morning to me.

    I like icefishing, but that’s a better feeling.

    Yes,throwing a big,noisy topwater for muskies is my fav,ice fishing is my 2nd.I would not give up either!

    When I was writing this I thought of that, I was wondering if anyone would say something lol

    That is a awesome feeling for the moment. But I will have to say that watching my children grow up and seeing that the times I had to be the mean guy and not there best bud pay off. It’s that moment when your proud of them for what they have become.

    Right now I’m at home sitting in the house with rain outside watching my twin 3 year old grandaughters just putter around. Can’t wait to take them icefishing,
