Took my 30″ noodle out for the first time today… WOW. Best rod I have ever owned by far. Caught a few nice crappie, and a lot of little perch with it. In 22 feet of water I could see a 3″ perch hit the jig, its that sensitive. Had no problem what so ever horsing a 12″ crappie up out of 18 feet of water. What an awesome rod. On the crappie bites I could feel the slight tick, never been able to do that with an ice rod before.

I didnt believe all of you earlier this season when you were saying how great they were… but now I am a believer. I even drove home with it on the dash of the truck because I didnt want to risk it getting broken.

Sounds like you really like this rod! I am thinking of ordering one also. Any idea of what the ordering time is now? Can you post a pic of yours? Thanks.

This is great to hear! My 32″ Noodle should be ready to be delivered to me sometime this week from Adam. Absolutely can’t wait to get it on some crappie and big bull gills!

I couldn’t agree more! Dave Koonce and I used our 32″ Precision noodles two days ago to wrangle some 14″ – 15″ slabs. Don’t let the noodle in the name fool you. Once you get past that ultra-sensative tip their plenty of backbone to land oversized pannies.

Most rods are being turned in about 2-3 weeks now. That was as of this morning when I talked with Adam

I have no idea what the ordering time is, but one email/pm/call to the TUC guys will let you know for sure.

Mine is just a stock rod, 30″ white blank with green tip and standard guides. I would highly suggest you get white blank, it is very easy to see against the ice and shanty sled.

Calvin is correct. It shouldn’t take longer then 3 weeks to get a rod built for you. We do have some stock noodles looking for a good home. Let us know what size you are looking for, we may have it in stock.

How are these rods better then a TB rod?

I own both TB and DH noodles. A 30″-32″ TUC noodle is on my want it bad list. How’s it better? Well all the rods have some different qualities. TB feels light all the way through. The DH has the backbone to put bigger fish on the ice. And the TUC totally surpised me when I had a chance to handle it. I would say most sensitive tip of the 3?

    Fisherman Andy explained it well.

Also if anyone wants to try a noodle this weekend I and a few others from the shop are going to be on Cenaiko in Coon Rapids fishing trout I will have a few rods there to try out.

Any questions feel free to call me 651-341-1129
