As in an actual plate. For some reason, this one grew just as good north/south as it did long? Filled an 8″ ice hole more than most.

    Returned to swim another day!

Is that a pond or public lake fish?

Joel, that thing looks silly! Look how small it’s tail is compaired to the rest of it!

    Speaking of Plate-Sized Panfish

Shot a quick photo on the ruler/board of this 11″ gill that weighed 1.4lbs yesterday. The board is exactly 11″ long and the tail is covering the 11 inch mark.

    The fish was also released!

Looks like you need a longer bump board!

Here is a 10 inch gill I caught yesterday, but it does not have the body of the other two.

Here’s one I got on Saturday…it went 10.5 and pulled drag like no panfish I’ve ever caught.
