Hand Auger Replacement Blade Question

My dad gave me our old 6″ strike master hand auger. It works great for the small ponds that I typically fish. After 15-20 years the blades are pretty worn out. My question is are replacement blades universal or do they only fit newer models. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

If your auger is a blue Mora you need to get those specific blades. If it is a black lazer it takes its own stye of blade. As far as I know the Mora blades are still being made.

Fleet Farm has an assortment of blades or you can check strike master.com and order them.

Mora Flat Blades. At retail or Strikemaster.com or any of the Strikemaster Service Centers listed on their web page.

Buy a set of replacement blades for mora auger, and make sure they say made in sweden. Then send your dull ones to fish307’s blade exchange program. They will come back sharper than new.
