Hey Guys, I am heading to Waubesa on Saturday for the first time and was wondering if anyone out there would afford me some advice. I’m looking for a good place to park and drag a sled out to catch some pannies. Any advice on location, bait or presentation would greatly be appreciated. I’m just getting started as a hadwater fan(atic) and am looking forward to learning from all the seasoned vets on this site. Hopefully I will be able to return the favor in the near future

My neighbor and I are going out Saturday morning too. Might go to Waubesa or Monona Bay. I usually do good with spikes on a tiny jig for bluegills. Sometimes if the fish are pretty active a small jigging spoon with spikes on the hooks works well.

You can walk out from Bible Camp, Lake Farm Park, Goodland park, or a dead end road to the north of Cristy’s bar that I don’t remember the name of. Lake Farm gets the most pressure. You need a start park sticker or dane county boat launch permit to park at lake farm and you need a dane county launch permit to park at goodland.

Excellent info and insights. Also, can I get a Dane County Park Permit at the parks?
