Seen this ad pop up on the right side of the page. Interesting attachment for your chain saw that turns it into a drill. Dont think Ill be trading in my strikemaster just yet but the videos where fun to watch.
It doesn’t show them actually drilling a hole, just yanking the bit out like a scared girl. Looks like it has way too much speed for ice drilling. Would have ice chips flying over your head.
Looks like earth augers. I’ll bet they cut the film on the ice hole because even what is left looks dangerous.
Click on the ice augers page and keep scrolling down. It has video of each size bit drilling. Looks like he has plenty of speed but maybe not that great of a auger. Was kinda waiting for him to start spinning around the auger. The 10″ blade Looked to be jumping around pretty good.
I remember the last time I went fishing with a guy that said lets take my auger, it cuts fantastic. Then got to sit and watch him lay on top of it to try and punch a few holes. Makes for a very long fishing trip.

Following that video did you see the video for the ICEHOGGER? Not sure I would be interested in it but it looks like a nice idea.
Missed the ice hoggers video. Did get caught up on some basic principles of pulley systems videos.
