There is a good 7+” of ice down on methodist. I took my fourwheeler out there with my trailer and had no troubles. Fishing is very slow. Caught a cat and a striper. Thought I’d throw out a report of the ice down there since I can’t seem to find one on here.
Thanks for the update. Did you happen to get back to Norwegian? I have always had good luck on that lake, too. 
Not sure where Norwegian is. Let me know. Thanks. I’m always looking for new spots especially since my beautiful wife bought me my new wheeler for Christmas. I now can go just about anywhere. 
I was out on Methodist yesterday for a few hours and caught only one bass. I got a felling it’s going to be a bad year. The last couple of years have pretty good so it wouldn’t surprise me if we get a bad one. Hope I’m wrong. One thing I noticed was a lot less current.

I could be talking about a different place then you, but I was talking about a lake on the Mississippi River, it’s part of the backwater Sny Magill on pool 10. There is Methodist and Norwegian, if this is not the place you were speaking of, I beg my pardon.
