I found a crack today on 1 of my vinyl windows in my ice tent. does anyone have a fix for this issue? I have heard that you can order a replacement window from Clam Corp. and have replaced by a canvas shop.

I would think the canvas shop would have bulk material, cut to fit

I had to fix a window in my otter lodge. Found the vinyl at Joanne Fabrics in Rochester. They had several thicknesses of vinyl depending on how pliable you want your window and it was extremely cheap… I think it was like $5 for a 2 yard minimum. The only pain was sewing the window in.

Cut it out and them make your own velcro on windows like frabill does. They are awesome.

I am going to be purchasing some greenhouse patch tape soon, if you PM me your address and how much you need I could mail you some on a piece of wax paper.

The adhesive on the tape is weather resistant, and the film will stand up to the weather just fine. You might want to warm up the plastic before you put the tape on it.

Clear packaging tape works well and will at least get you through the season until you can have the window replaced. Just make sure the window is clean and warm when you apply it. I have a house with packaging tape all over the windows and it’s lasted many years.

If the crack is really bad, you might want to install a vinyl replacement window in place of the broken one. Or get the crack fixed from a local contractor or a vinyl window company. I’ve also heard about repair kits available for vinyl windows, but I don’t know if this is what you’re really looking for. http://www.championwindow.com/windows/

Clear, waterproof tape. I used it on my original top’s plastic window for awhile before I purchased a glass Window top. It held the window together and didn’t leak.
