Alma area ice?

    Anyone been out around Alma/the Dike road or heard anything on ice thickness? Looking to head out Monday. As much as I love fishing in northwestern WI its time for perch and crappies on the backwaters hopefully

    Wife and I went for a drive Wenesday and there were people fishing the back waters by Alma and they were out on the dyke road. Good luck.

    Been safe ice there since before duck season ended

    About 6 inches of ice at Merricks today.Don’t know about Nelson but it should be ok,heard of 4 different people going through there earlier this year.Fish were finiky again…

    Spent some time on the ice in a few places between the high school and Buffalo City and found a very consistent 6″ of ice everywhere I stopped.
