I recently received this case. I love the size and it’s abilitiy to protect my rods. That said, I am struggling to find a good way to get 4 combos in efficiently. Does anyone have experience with this case and any tips I can use to get it set up? vice heard of guys cutting holes for their reels. Ideally I wouldn’t have to break down my reels. Pictures would be great.

Thanks trumar. I can get 4 in but the challenge is that they are all 28″ rods. Alone have experience cutting out sections for reels in either this case or the Otter to make it easier? My Eagle Claw Inline reel seems to be the toughest to fit since it has a higher profile handle.

Can you relax the handle at all ? Probably not huh ? thats one of the reasons I am sticking to my okuma SLV 2/3.

I have the Otter rod box and can store 5-6 combos up to 32″ safely, plus 2 Rose Creek jig cases.I did how ever cut out sections in the bottom to recess my Rose Creek boxes.

Thanks. What kind of handle is that with the white on it? I’ve never seen that before.

They are all custom made rods and I wanted to use them the next day so I made them out of 3/4 hard wood round stock,It was cheap and serves the purpose.
