    Hey guys,

Ordering some new rods and just wondering what you guys think about spilt grip handles? Specifically on panfish rods. Any added benefits besides added sensitivity? Cons? Thanks in advance and happy fishing

I personally like them for the reason that you can sit the but of your hand down on actual rod blank between the cork and feel slight vibrations. Just my two cents, perhaps I am looking into it to much, but that is what i prefer. -Q

I’ve never used one, but I think they look kinda cool. I’m thinking next year’s purchase will be a couple TUC rods with split grip handles.

    It makes the rod lighter

I decided to go with a split grip handle on a 32″ noodle from TUC. I like the idea of being able to be in direct contact with the blank itself to feel light bites. Now I just gotta wait for my rod!
