Looking for a noodle rod for bluegill and crappie. Around 24-30″ and sensitive enough to fish small baits. Don’t really want to spend a ton, so I think as nice as they look… a TUC is out of the question. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Normally fish #10 ratsos, shrimpos, and diamond jigs with plastics.

JR’s Tackle makes a very nice noodle rod for $30.

I’m selling my 28″ TB power noodle on LakeStateFishing. It has recoil guides, green wrappings, hi-viz orange tip, and a 6″ cork handle. I bought it brand new from my buddy as he did not use it whatsoever so it does have his name on it but it can be easily removed. It has not wet a line until this year. I’m looking to get $60/obo. [email protected] if you’re interested.

    I just ordered a 32″ TUC Noodle

We do make a noodle with fly guides on it. They are slightly heavier than REC guides but it a great option for someone trying to save money.
I have some 30″ ones of those in stock.

Thanks for all the info, and thank you for the PMs with TUC Rods for sale.

I’m still keeping my options open, but by the looks of the messages I’ve gotten I think I might be able to swing a TUC after all. TUC was my first choice by a long shot, but on a tight budget this year.. but a used one or a trade proposed by TUC directly may make it possible to fish my first TUC! Sort of excited, been eyeballing them all summer.

Well, it looks like I’m getting a TUC after all! Excited to say the least after watching the bluegill video on here.. I could see the hits on James’ rod all the way from Iowa.
