My youngest little deerdragger (age 9) and I are heading to URL tomorrow for a day trip…there hasn’t been any recent chatter in here about reports.

I’ve only been there a couple of times with mixed results. What’s the report? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Thanks. Aside from staying away from the crowds, what other tips might you offer? Depth?

I was up there Saturday and went out of rogers. Mainly fished 12- 13 ft range. Great bite but the fish were definitely coming through in schools. We would pick up a few every time they came through. 5/16 slender spoon with whole fat head hooked right behind dorsal fin outfished everything else. Pound it on the bottom a few times then hold it about a foot off the bottom rinse and repeat. Color did not matter

My brother was up there last weekend with a buddy. They had two man fish limits within hours both Friday and Saturday. They were out of Hillman’s road. Check outhttp://westwindwaskish.com/fishingreport.html for an updated report also. Dead stick lines and jigging spoons bouncing them off the bottom have been doing well.

    Good Luck

Keep in mind the new regulations on Red- up to 4 fish under 20 inches…go get em!
