Got a Otter Wild Cabin this year. Anyone know if the Otter swivel seats will fit in the wild sled? Metal base not the plastic with the rail.I like the bench but at 30 lbs. it adds a lot of weight. With one swivel seat it would be a super one man.

The wild sled is differant than the pro sled.

I think the seat brace arms can be ajusted. Don’t know how high it would sit.

Interesting Fact as I thought Otter made only one type of sled. Thanks

I won the Wild thermo top At the shack mod. this fall at Thorne Bros. Really don’t care for the wild sled. The rest is great. I don’t have a wheeler or sled so weight is big for walking out.Love the bench for sitting, hate the weight of the bench 29 lbs.

You could definitely adjust the width of the Otter aluminum seat mount to make it fit (if you had to) by drilling a new hole for the button lock. And if the seat was too low for your liking, it would be easy to place a spacer between a seat swivel and the Otter seat mount to make it more comfortable for you.

I see that there are 2 options of bucket seats which is best?

Simplest would be the one with the metal base going front to back. The one with the rail and the plastic base if you wanted to add a sportman caddy.I didn’t think of andding a spacer, great idea.

Update, yesterday got the wild cabin out to look at the seat and wenched my back pretty good. Enough is enough. Called my son and asked for my Quick Flip 2 back and will be trading him on sat.Otters are great shacks if you have a wheeler or sled. Bad back and plulling by hand, they don’t play well together.I did mod. the Eskimo and got the weight down to 65 lbs. That and the angle of the front make it a lot easier to load and unload.
