LX 7 Flasher ?

I was ice fishing today,had the LX7 on flasher mode,only thing on the screen. I was in 8.2 feet of water,I didn’t touch anything,I swear…All of a sudden the unit went into a screen like a Vexilar zoom screen,still the flasher but with the depth range reaching almost the entire dial.What happened,how can I get it to do it again???I did like it,found those fish tight to the bottom easier to see and coax.Thanks for any help!
PS: I was at Butch’s Bay in Menomonie,WI Got my 10 and left,4 ” of good ice,no snow…

Sounds like you put it into Dynamic Depth mode.

You catching sunny or crappies down there. Try to stay away from there cus there alway alot of poeple but might give it a try.

I got all gills bit did see a few crappies caught,more small than big. I too stay away from the main groups. I talked to a lady walking her dogs and she asked me if there was a fishing contest,I said no,wait till the weekend then see how many people are out on the ice…
