So i’m thinking about trading in my snowmobile for a Yamaha Grizzly 700 Quad..For those that have it, is power steering preferred or unnecessary on the ice?

Don’t know about on the ice, but the power steering is nice. I have a 2010 Grizz 700 and I probably won’t get another one without it…of course I have tracks to put on the bike and don’t think I’d like to put a lot of hours working them without the power steering.

Just like anything else with or without power steering, once you have it, you’ll never go back! Power steering is nice for plowing and/or long trail rides, whether or not it’s needed for icefishing, that’s up to you… If you have the funds available then definitely go with it; you will not be disappointed!!!

Where ever you are going to be operating your machine on the ice or across ground you will definitely find that the extra money spent on power steering will be well worth every penny it just simply makes operating the machine so much less physical. You will not regret it.
