Got out and used a couple new items from the Ice Show.

    1. Strikemaster Honda 4-stroke! Quiet, powerful, no exhaust stink, punched about 40 holes with ease. Re-drilled some holes also, no issue. Highly reccomend it!

    2. Tuned up Precision Noodle Rod 32″- Bought this at the ice show. Worth its weight in gold! Sensitivity and high viz tip, allowed numerous crappies to hit the ice. Released all of them but took a few still shots.

Custom Jigs and Spins Shrimpo’s were the meal ticket. A few fell victim to a Diamond jig/tipped with a wedgee. I am sure most people have these but do yourself a favor and get some.

Good luck fishin. P.R/Walker Area has little snow cover with pretty good ice on the smaller lake(under 400 acres)that I was on. 4-5 inches was common, some areas with 6-8 inches closer to shore.

Nice fish Jake! Makes a difference to be able to detect fine-biters like crappies.
