I just got my TUC Precision Noodle rod that i paired up Shimano Sedona. I’m looking for some advise for which line to put on it set up. it will be used as a panfish rod.

    Thanks in advance

P-Line 3# would be my choice.

Fill the spool 2/3rds full of any mono kinda like backing. Then add your favorite fluorocarbon line in 2-4lb test or floro coated line. I like the suffix floro in 4lb personally. You will only use 50-60 yards!

For tightlining Asso heavy in yellow works well…its a florocarbon that is as good any out there. 3lb pline floroice is an excellent choice as well. When I’m using a clear line n tightlining I like to put an orange bobber stopper on my line as a sight indicator, position it a few inches below the surface when at ur desired depth.

Suffix floro 2-4 lb is my choice…great rod, all you need is some crappies and a custom jig and spin shrimpo and it will be lights out on the slabs!!! Great choice on the rod!

Sufix Ice Magic gets my nod too on those noodle rods. Something a bit stiffer in terms of action I’d be happier with Floro perhaps, but I’m a big fan of the manageability of co-polys like the Ice Magic.
