Okay guys, here’s the skinny.
Iin my old 8×16 I had a 25,000 BTU direct vent. It was a pain in the butt as it was hard to start and keep going in the wind. It wasn’t an Empire so it wasn’t the top of the line so that probably didn’t help.
The new 10×24 I bought has a 30,000 BTU ventless Procom heater in it. Seems to heat the place up amazingly well when I tested it today but I’m a little worried about carbon monoxide poisoning as we sleep out there often and possible condensation issues.
Any advice you can lend?
Torn between keeping it, getting a second monoxide detector and cracking windows or buying a new Empire 35,000 BTU direct vent.
