Am I mistaken or were you on ice recently? Any details you wanna give us? How was it?

    The show airs this sunday.

We hit Devils and had a good trip. Lots of “eater” walleyes. Ice ranged 2″ – 5″. No perch basically because the ice conditions didn’t allow us to get deep enough to target them. We had a couple pike but nothing to write home about. The walleye bite was basically non-stop constant so there were no complaints.

Overall it was a good trip.

I wouldn’t complain on getting on any ice at this point.

Looks like I will have to live vicariously through you via the show.

I like the one where you’re hauling all the gear.

Looks like I am going to have to do the Facebook thing. Sigh………

I’m trying to fight joining it but seems that’s the direction everyone is going.

Good thing he didn’t get the one of me putting a spider-crack in the ice with my rear.

I got some new found respect after that. Not for any other reason than for the fact that I could possibly break the ice by slipping and take down the whole crew!

Hard to blame Ben for missing that one. It isn’t easy framing a shot when you’re laughing your hinder off.

What was funnier yet is when he walked to the same spot and bit it!

On a more serious note, I was too lazy use my cleats for first ice (glare) on one of the local bays (Lake Superior) a couple of years and put my keester on the slab hard. Butt was still sore 3 – 4 weeks later. I guess I had to re-learned that lesson.
