Was looking for a new box for my jigging spoons and looked at the Rose Creek ones TB has. But the one I looked at could only hold 12 Spoons. So I moded a FF box I got. Now I can hold 25-30 spoons per box because it is 2 sided.

    Nifty.

I make jig boxes using cardiac pacemaker boxes to which I glue in strips of 1/2″ square foam strips. After gluing the strips on the inside of both covers I cut a piece of light foam to the dimension of the cover to seperate and cushion the jigs on both halves. Works slick.

Thats the ultimate recycling story! Not many people walking the frozen pond with a cardiac box full of spoons.

That’s a great idea I have been just putting them lose in a tackle box.

I have done similar things with standard boxes as well. Some of those long trips can really beat up your tackle!

I’ll throw up some pictures later today as well.

For jigging raps, swedish pimples, and other slender spoons, i have a number of ammo boxes from reloading that I use. 50 jigging raps to a small box!

Here is a picture of what I have done. I learned the hard way years ago on my first trip to Lake Winnipeg. Tackle can take a beating if you don’t protect it.

I have done other boxes with foam as well and then put a strip across to hold spoons, jigs in place. This has seemed to work well and is similar to another post above.
