While “Borderland” temps look to fall tonight……Big fish should rise this week. I am planning on hitting the ice before this weekend. BIG SHALLOW WATER WALLEYES!!
I might be SLIGHTLY biased here, but here on Rainy Lake our Big pike and walleyes in December and January speak for themselves……I’m READY!!
Upon arriving home I am seeing a couple spear houses out in bays. The snow has melted on the ice. Should make for a nice skating rink in the am!!

I’m guessing I have a hundred pounds on you Alex !!!
All I need is 2-2.5″ to feel somewhat comfortable. But once that ice is good and thick we’ll have to get out and fish!
