Last year the very first ice cover I saw was November 28th in the Leech Lake area. The first time I was able to fish was December 11th in the southwest metro. Kinda have a feeling it will be a little later this year.
Agreed. We had a nice start but this latest warm trend ruined it. 57 on Mon!? Our winters have been depressing for years.
Dec 4th? dear god that was early. Over on the east metro i was on a small bay on a small lake, it was an 1′ & 7/8 only! and that was the 10th
