Upper red lake

We at up north fish house rentals out of Rogers resort on the south shore are seeing anywhere from 5 to 8 inches of ice. We will be putting our sleeper houses on the lake next weekend. They will be letting four wheeler traffic out this weekend. Talk to you soon

really wish I wasnt going to the cities this weekend…I would definately be heading up there now that i hear you guys have that much ice…never been there…plan to make my first trip there this winter

You will have a great experience on red lake. They have also changed the slot limit on walleye to four fish up to 20 inches which is a very fair slot. Also if u need any help just let us know at up north fish house rentals.

Good luck Fishing this weekend. Most of the fish have been coming off of red buck shots or lindy flyer spoons. Also never forget the plane red hooks. Good luck

Justin from up north fish house rentals will let you rent a sleeper house from him. They are all parked on shore waiting to hit the ice, just a little to thin yet. He is getting 35 dollars a guy which beats driving to black duck or bemidji plus he always is looking to deal on bigger groups. Give him a ring 320 492 4461

I just arrived at upper red lake today and it seems like there is plenty ice. There is a solo eight inches out there. Rogers is still letting four wheeler traffic out and talking about letting wheelers with wheel houses out this coming weekend but that is not a for sure.
