Fished My EC Reel On A Jig Rod/Pics

I fished my EC fly reel today on a jig rod. We were fishing white pearch in 35 ft. Fish went lb to a lb and a half. Never felt something feel so smooth. No effort at all to reel those brutes in. The new fenwick rod was a joy to use. That is twice i have used then both on a long and short rod. Super both times. I found if you rotate the reel to the sideways position the line comes off very nice.

Sweet!!! I wish I would have got my hands on one of those darn things!

Try local gander mtns (ask for eagle claw in-line ice reel). Otherwise you are SOL.

A friend of mine is a large sporting goods salesman and he has 74 of the EC reels coming in early December.He had one heck of a time getting them and he will let me know when he gets them.He is selling them for $30 shipped free. If anyone wants one, pm me and I will let you know when they come in.Only catch is, if any of his stores want them, we are last on the list.
