Does anyone have any experience using there Elite 5 for ice fishing. I see that i can buy a conversion kit to make it a ice fishing set up, and was wondering if it is worth it.

I just picked up an Elite 4 combo but mostly for the maping. I doubt I will use the sonar at all. I mounted mine on a blue box and picked up a cig lighter chord and chip. I will run a regular flasher battery early ice and probably just run it in my pickup after that. I am wondering too how well the sonar would work for ice fishing but probably won’t spring for the puck unless my flasher takes a dump.
