Got my invoice tonite from Dean for my pre-ordered Black Betty.Payment sent, now just have to wait in anticipation to actually see and feel this new piece of work.Now the next decision is what rod to put it on????/ Hope everyone who gets one of these new reels posts on their thoughts, whether good or bad. I did get to feel one of the new Eagle Claws and it does have some nice features but why buy a Chevette when you can buy a Corvette!!!!!

I did see one pic of the new EC and it showed how it arrived! The reel seat was broken right off.I will stick to the BB all aluminum.

Ive beat on mine really hard since they came…..I think that had to have been a fluke..I froze mine into a block of ice and smashed it off the garage floor and both my reels still function. Just sayin……
To the OP my payment will be sent in the morning! I cannot wait to get mine as well!
I have also confirmed my reel reservation and made payment . I have seen and handled the eagle claw version . I love the concept and am convinced this will be a game changer .

Did Dean email you or snail mail the invoice, I signed up early but have not gotten an invoice yet.
He emailed instructions through Angler’s Guide HQ requiring action by the 21st to secure your order. I’d shoot Dean a call or email.

Mine was in my mailbox last night. 
Just received email from guys at 13 fishing. The only place to get the BB6061 preordered is cabelas or sheels. They will be getting a small amount of them in the next few weeks. You cant get them through 13 fishing as well.
I am confused (nothing new), are you talking about the BB or the EC? I got my hands on ECs and really like the reel…… except the drag. Going to put in carbon fiber discs and will report back. Am I the only one that has issues with the drag on these? I have not read any other blogs questioning this.
