I know the LX5 will rid itself of any interference, but I was thinking of also getting the Lowrance Ice Pack to get a little more use out my summer electronic’s and wondered if the Lowrance can operate beside a Marcum ?
It should have a way to increase the IR or suppression in the menu. Just get that one to be clear, then hit the IR button on the marcum to clear it up and you are good to go.
Yes, you can use them side by side. I have a Lowrance 520 that I use for GPS, but I also have the ice ducer incase someone with me doesn’t have a depthfinder. There may some intereference that shows up as vertical lines, but its still easy to see the jig and fish.
