Ice Troller question

    Hello,
I was looking for ideas on mounting my ice troller (1st edition) on my atv. I was thinking of something very similar to the ram mount I have on my atv for my h20c. Basically, I want to be able to go from hole to hole on my atv and throw the ducer down the hole and check for fish and take off if they aren’t there. I am sure somebody has set something like this up. Thanks guys!

Check to see if Marcum just sells the cradle part used on the Troller Performance Pack, i’m sure that part could be easily attached to an ATV’s handlebars..

It wouldn’t be too much harder just to use the lanyard and where it around your neck??

I just sent an email to MarCum to see if that cradle is available as a stand alone item. If it is it would obviously make a good mounting solution for your troller.

    Here’s the response from MarCum:

“Yes, we do sell that cradle. The price is $11.99. Part Number is 15-1009-80087M. Currently it can be ordered over the phone. In the next few days we will be launching a new website and we’ll make sure that part is added.”

Thanks James!! I will put in a call and get it ordered up. It shouldn’t be too hard to figure out a way to get that cradle mounted.

No, wouldn’t think it would be hard at all. I’d look at a Ram plate base to start.

Here’s the link to all the Ram 1.5″ ball components for reference.

It shouldn’t be hard to match up holes in the cradle to holes in the Ram plate. If existing holes don’t work you’ll be able to drill holes in the base of the cradle to correspond with the Ram plate. From there, sky’s the limit as Ram makes dozens of different ATV mounts.
