Curious what everyone’s favorites are. I use mostly CJ&S and I basically use 3 colors. Firetiger, gold and silver. I’d like to also add some copper to the mix.

Red/Gold is hard to beat. I like blue/glow white also. I catch 90% of my fish on buckshot spoons.

Gapen flicker’s are great lures also, they fish heavy so you can downsize weight for finiky biters, I always upsize the hooks though.

Depends where you go. People say red is really good on Mille Lacs. Gold on LOTW.

I’ve always had good luck with gold over anything else although I am trying to expand my tackle selection this year so it should be interesting to see what others have to say.

Purple. One that is becoming a fast favorite is chartreuse with a glow red nose. (I do these on my own)

Firetiger is my first choice , glow red a close second . I like orange , pink , purple , black , gold and silver . I like to use multi-color jigs and spoons. They offer a better chance at hitting the right color. I have favorites for different lakes I fish . But Firetiger or a clown pattern is always on at least one rod .

More so than color is style and shape , and I have really become a spoon fisherman. Spoons allow me to cover lots of water fast . Instead of finessing tight lipped fish , I refer to look for actively feeding fish .

There are times a finesse approach is best , especially when the wind is bad and moving is difficult. Then a small jig tipped with a plastic tail is my go to.

Glad to see a few Firetigers come voice their support, but it looks like I need some glow reds this year.

Gold and silver for me! It depends on your location, but where i fish, ruffies and shiners are present so that is why those colors produce well.

Gold is a perennial favorite for me, especially in larger bait offerings. Red and red glow are good panfish combinations, as are froggie and anything with purple. Firetiger and perch colors are great walleye colors, esp. in clear bodies of water like Mille Lacs.
