Just found your IDO shows. LOVE THEM!

Watch them on the iPhone at work all the time. I wish you could get the older shows on Youtube so its more iOS Apple friendly.

I know you’re a big fan of ice reels. If this reel keeps up to its promise, and I’m sure it will. Will it replace most of your spinning reels?

I know I will switch some of my spinning reels to the 6061 this year, and if I like them as much as I hope I do, next year that might be all I carry for panfish anyway.

From everything I have learned about the 6061 I am confident that it will be my first first reel out up for panfish. And it may even prove itself as a walleye reel, but last time I was in the store I could buy unsliced bread. So there will still be a time and a place for a high quality spinning reel.

Glad you like the shows… we have more coming soon!

As for the 6061, assuming it lives up to expectations, I’ll be adding a couple to the arsenal for deep water perch, gills, crappies first and I’ll see how they perform on walleye to see if I’m interested in adding more for that species.

I’m excited to get my hands on one here ASAP.

The Black Betty will work nice for the competitive fishing crowd.

I’ve been told the same as James from a friend who reps them. The 13 guys apparently found this chassis at a Japanese tackle show and modified the guts. Something that reel on your link (and I would assume the Eagle Claw one floating around) are both missing.

Popular rumors seem to be an instant anti reverse, where the Eagle Claw has back play, at least those here in our shop, and the carbon drag and crazy free spool. I’m stoked…we have a few coming in and all have been spoken for (me with and RSVP for 1 please!!!)

Are there any left to pre-order?

The original allotted reels are spoken for. We do however have standby list as more reels become available or should someone change their mind when they are ready to ship.

Here’s an update on the 13 Fishing 6061 Multiplier. We laid hands on the official release photos for this hot little number. No more speculation. No more photos of prototypes. These photos are from the “reel” deal.

Looks so much like the EC Ice Reel.

    Bee…let’s be smart here.

One company seems to make great product (fished their Whiteout rod last year, very nice), the other is known for being cheap.

One is a solid aluminum reel, the other is cheap plastic. You really think it’s the 6061 looking like the EC?

We have those in our shop on combos for $39.99, yet everyone on here was buying them at $15 blow out price from the factory. Nobody sees the fishy (forgive the pun) behavior there…

I’m not going to say one copied the other, but d.a.m.n. if that isn’t obvious we need to get you to the eye Dr. son!!!!
