not my first trip of the year, but just filled out my entry to the Mobridge Chamber Tourney out on Oahe. Middle of Janury. We usually hit Mille Lacs at first ice, and usually the Waubay area gets some early ice and that will be worth a look. Funny how last years first ice was so late in the season. Hope it doesn’t happen again.

I have been talking with Jason Feldner of Perch Eyes Guide Service and in process of putting together a trip for mid March. This Can/Am will involve Sask. and WI residents. I’m sure that this 3 day/4 night summit will be full of political discusion as well as dealing with the state of our economies and world problems such as global warming and the middle east.

I saw Jason about 3 weeks ago, he was bringing in some clients. He had the bigger fish dialed in as their walleyes looked to be the big brothers of what we were catching.
