    One of my fondest memories of the 2011/12 Hardwater season was helping Mike slide this monster “Ski” topside.

    I’ll never forget laying facedown in the snow while shielding the glare of the sun as I lay motionless hoping to only catch a glimpse of what was SO angry beneath us.

    At a moment I calmly collected myself while dusting the snow from my jacket when I looked my buddy mike straight in the eyes and said “MIKE…..That is the largest fish I have ever seen in my entire life!!…..NOW DO NOT PANIC!!

    I can only imagine the playback on the Marcum LX-9!! PRICELESS!!

    It was Squeezed through. Literally…….THEN………THERE WAS an ICE DANCE!! Knuckle Bumps… Chest Bumps…..What Ice fishing is all about!!

    I couldn’t have been happier for him. Frankly I was a bit nervous that this magnificent fish would NOT see the flash of a camera.
