I am about ready to hit the road to Lake Winnipeg to give the 2011/2012 ice season one last shot. I hope the bite it half as good as last year. LW Greenbacks
We have 4 wheelers ready to tackle Lake Winnipeg, braided line, blade baits, and most important sun screen.

    See ya all on Monday.

Good luck Cal, give ’em heck

Actually saw a guy today at noon on some Pool 6 backwater ice

Even the Winona Lakes are ice free and most of the backwaters but this guy found some ice to stand on. He was standing over 20+’ of water too

My buddy just got back, his group got close to 300 fish in 3 days, 12lbs being the biggest, I think they got 4 over 10lbs. Live Target rattle baits on one road, buckshot on the other, said its the best bait. They tried the Rapala rip baits, regular traps, blade baits, etc.
