wondering if anyone else has encountered the problem I had on Sunday, after a few hours on the ice I went to adust my target i.d. setting and the unit shut off. Started it up and it would shut off if you touched any of the setting buttons. Waiting to hear back from customer service. Once at home the unit worked properly and did not shut off when buttons were touched.

Possible loose connection on the battery terminals. I know LW is rough right now, could have shaked loose? I would start with the batter connections.

connections were the first thing I looked at, unplugged and re-attached several times with the same result. Unit would power up but as soon as you pressed any of the buttons, off she went. The frustrating part was when it came back on the target i.d. setting was higher than originally set and showed very large marks and I could do nothing to change it.

Are you around to fish Chalet this weekend? James and I will be fishing in that area near the mouth I would imagine, if the unit is still giving you trouble we could take a look for you. I know of some possible trouble shooting things, easier to do in person vs. describe over a post.

I was planning on heading out to Chalet Sunday morning as Saturday is a work day for me. I appreciate your offer and would certainly take advantage of your generosity. Will pm you my phone number. Thanks again.
