With the warm weather it’s time to start switching gear over. One of the top goals for this weekend is to get the houses out in the yard to air out and dry completely before storing.

Yep, one of my houses was musty. Would have been bad if I left them all summer.

Pannies are biting thru the ice. 75+ today, but if you were in a keeping mood, you would to pick thru a bunch. Right now they are down deep in the weeds trying keep from being lunch for the northerns and muskies. They are really crusing the shallows right now.

If you like tip ups for pike it might be worth the trip.Your roughly 7 hrs away.Looks like weather is going to be great for next 2 weeks.Know of 2 fish 30+ lbs last weekend by locals, hearing decent #’s in high teens to mid 20’s. Your call

If I thought there was any chance I could get work permits in time… I’d jump at the chance. Unfortunately it isn’t an easy or short process to get the needed paperwork to venture north of the border with a camera.

What if a Canadian citizen was behind the camera AND not getting paid?
