headed up there to do some perchin this weekend, wondering what the ice is like and if they are driving out anywhere still? any info is much appreciated!!

The ice is in pretty good shape for the most part; however there are a few cracks out there. If you are heading out with a wheeler you should be able to access from almost anywhere (except the casino access) and move freely around the lake. If you want to drive out with a vehicle I’d stay on the East side of the lake… You could even give Paul at Appeldorns a call I had heard his roads were in great shape through last weekend.
BTW – The Hunter’s Perch Extravaganza is this weekend so since you are already planning on chasing perch you may want to check it out.

Your best bet will most likely be to head to the flats on the West side of the lake. They’ve had a lot less pressure this year since all of the roads come from the East
