Unseasonably warm weather and deteriating ice!!!!!

    I was fishing crappies at my cabin on a small 100 acre lake when I fell through with one leg up to my waist. With unusual warm temps and a spring beneath the ice that I was unaware im here to remind people of unsafe ice and watch where you are driving with atv’s and vehicles!!!!

    Glad you were able to get out of that situation. I know this message should apply to nearly any ice areas but just curious where was this at – generally speaking. WI, MN, Metro, “up North”…

    Thanks for letting us know this far north!!! That is for sure news, even though ice has been iffy all winter, even in the great white north… Glad to hear your experience was only getting wet and no one was hurt!!!
