Had to Chuckle reviewing my pics. I took a couple quick shots of Drew’s 14 3/8 inch Crappie from this weekend when noticing the “INVISIBLE CRAPPIE”. Just precisely when I snapped the pic the fish balanced in Drew’s hand flopped away leaving an empty hand but a big smile!! Just to be fair I’ve included the smile inducing “DONK”.

    Nice fish Bud!!

No way that fish is over 14! I’m thinking 12.

That smile might be 14 though! LOL!

Probably not up to speed on the tongue in cheek remarks, but it was 14 3/8 on the nose with several guys putting eyes on the tape as they had a contest on the biggest Crappie for the day. We have little need to stretch the size of our Crappies I assure you. Out of the 40 plus Crappies we landed at least 10 were around 13.5 with 3 pushing over 14 that day. Normally with those numbers we’d tag a 15 plus. We normally catch 20-25 slabs over 15 inches each ice fishing season with a few topping 16.

Just funnin with BK’s comment. Great picture with a no fish in hand pose. Something had to be said. Now with the picture of the huge slab in hand, that’s something I haven’t caught in years. Congrats!

Guides and more so good guides don’t need to exaggerate.

Sorry for taking your post off track Mr. G, but I found it extremely funny to call you out on the “invisible” fish photo.

There is no doubt in my mind (without any witnesses) that the actually crappy is every inch you say it is.

But the invisible one still looks shorter.
