I have a LX-5 and the screen doesn’t appear as clean and crisp as it did when it was new. It’s got 3-4 seasons on it. I have replaced the battery and it is good. Has anyone else had this issue and what did it take to make it like new again or what might be the cause of it. Thanks in advance.I have e-mailed Marcum on the issue already and I haven’t heard anything back for 2 weeks now.

My guess is you need a new transducer.

James you may be right. I had the foam stick to my transducer and its not the same as before.

I sort of felt that way about mine, but I kind of thought it was just because I got used to it.

I knew it wasn’t that I was getting use to it. Thing’s were just different. It started to look like an old arcade graphic game. i Have to turn my gain up farther to see my bait in the same depths that i use all the time. i have just noticed different issues that I have started having. I’m hoping that it’s just a transducer issue.
