What a great morning to get out with my 2 year-old daughter. The ice conditions were great. Unfortunately, that was the highlight. I had two nibbles and marked 4 fish. We punched 18 holes from 6 feet to about 28 feet. I hope to get out Sunday and put together a fish fry. I haven’t kept a fish since December.

    Chris,

If I get on the fish up here I will give you a shout and maybe we can get together. I still need to get down that way this winter!!

I hope to explore around on Sunday. We’ll see how it goes…

We’ll find some fish buddy! Still have not heard much about what the fish are doing I’ve been out of the loop that last few weeks.

In the past week we have tried Catgut slough – 4 10″+ perch. Goose Island, 1 decent sunnie, 3 small. Tried minnows & worms, but caught everything on waxies. Hit the I-90 Bay on the MN side just b-4 dark fri. night one 3 lb Northern & 12″ sauger on tip downs with minnow on a bare hook.

I fished the I-90 bay Wednesday evening, only marking 3 fish and wasn’t able to coax any of those into biting.
