A C clamp with a piece of conduit attached that whiskerkev made for me. Clamp it on the support of the tent, slide the butt of the rod into the tube. I use a slip bobber on my deadstick rod though so don’t need to be able to do a quick hook set from the holder usually and have time to slide it out of the tube. Works good for me, especially for the price. I also use the top of a pail with the bail open holder.

I just started using the Arctic Warrior setup this year. I attached a Frabill Arctic Siren (discontinued) to the flag and it has helped me catch twice as many fish as before. With the alarm on it I can be fishing with my back turned and get alerted immediately to a bite.

I found a rod holder at fleet farm made by a company called Rounder. It clips onto the support tubes of a flip over,[which tube depends on your brand of shelter]. Set your rod up, coil a little line in the hole, put it in the holder and push the rod out of the way. About 7″long 1 1/2 round, blue in color. Works greatin a clam. Also clips on a bucket. Used it today with results.
