Auger help (Burnsville Area)

    Does anyone know of anyone in the Burnsville area that works on ice augers, or small engines. My Strikemaster started dogging really bad lastnight. It has been running really good up until last night, drilled 2 holes fine, then wouldn’t idle or stay running unless you keep on the throttle. Please help

    Might want to try a new plug if it hasnt been changed in a while. New gas if its old. Check the easy stuff first.

    Ya, try the gas and plug thing. I spent a week rebuilding my carb, and giving my whole auger a good cleaning only to find out that it still wouldn’t run. A new tank of gas was all it needed.

    Hey Troy,

    Try Rosemount Saw and Tool in Rosemount, MN. I’ve had auger work done there in the past and they should probably have a good turnaround time this late in the season.

    They are just north of 42 and 3, on 3, just past the gas station on the right, with all the snow blowers in the front.
