Second time using my Marcum 625 SD and I can’t get it to turn on. Any suggestions? Battery is charged.

Are the cords securely attached to the battery? Had that problem with my LX-3, when I first opened the box…

Had same problem, battery was dead. Charger was no good. Should be green when charger plugged into 110, not connected to camera. Goes red when connected and back to green once charged. Mine was red through all of those. Marcum sent me a new one, been normal since.

Double check the fuse. Had that happen to me with my flasher before.

I had the same problem with mine(625sd)what mine did was not come on when the unit was cold, and after it warmed up it would come on.
I called Marcum and they said that is normal do to how much power it takes to start the unit.
So you need to make sure the battery is fully charged and to try and keep it(unit)in a half way warm area when first turning it on.

Not seeing a fuse at all. Is there one in the camera somewhere?

Tried again today after letting it sit in the garage (heated) and fully charged battery. Nothing.

There’s no fuse on the 625. Or on any of the MarCum flashers for that matter. The showdowns do have a fuse.

As for the 625 that won’t power up… call marcum on monday. My guess is either a bad wiring harness or a faulty on/off switch, either of which would need to be replaced by the factory.

Thanks James. I will try to call them today.

Just to follow up, the camera did start working last night. It wouldn’t work Saturday (on ice) nor all day Sunday (in garage.) Tried it again before I called them today and it fired up.
