That “squealer” is awesome! Great job converting that 3-wheeler into an ice machine.

Interesting. How many extra inches of snow do the ski’s buy you as opposed to leaving the front tire on?

Before the ski’s…i had issues with 6″ of snow…I had to really work the motor and felt I was plowing more then I was on top of the snow…

When we did this video I had not used it in anything more then a light dusting on the ice, and in some remote wooded areas with minimal snow… But I ran her over to the edges of the lake we were on and tried out some drifts of about 8″ or better and it handled that pretty well… I was in second gear and just kept a constant throttle and pulled my otter right thru it.

No with the tire up front… I remember having to shake the bike back and forth and try to get as much out of the bike as I could… way over working the bike…

So with the limited use I have had…. I am giving this modification

Got the 110 in the barn now for some skis….I knew that center ski wasn’t the ticket.

Was the 305 pounds noted in the video just the bike, you and the bike, or just ….. You?

Hi Dave, great idea for ice fishing, I may have to look into something with your idea in mind it should be simple know. Heading back to Rainy Lake this spring. My brother’s in law is going back, but I have to stay home because the Gills will be hammering the waxworms. Good luck! Kenny

I was thinking about a similar mod on a 2 wheel drive wheeler.
I’ve seen them for sale pretty cheap at times. I’d think a guy
could set it up so the skis could be easily attached.
