I seen a bunch of ambulances out at the local lake on my way to work this evening. I heard a man was pulled from the water and taken to the hospital unresponsive. Be careful out there fellas!

February 2, 2012 at 12:18 pm #1034535This lake is our local, GO TO lake. Not always fish, but close. I know a lot of guys that fish it. The ice has been 6-8, but not the real good ice. No name given yet, my heart really goes out to the family.

We still have 6-8 around Northern Iowa, but I have to admit, I am having second thoughts about fishing on Sat. Built a new ice house this year for a local farm pond and I have not even put it out – pond froze late and now this warm weather.
