The updates for the new Lx-7 are they free downloads or is there a hefty price with each one? My second ? when fished next to other flashers DO they cause a lot of interference on the others? I know some is probably gonna happen but with that much power I want to know how it effects the other flashers and if it does is the rejection button able to get rid of it?
I’m just filling in for others while they’re a way.
From my understanding and other posts, the upgrades are free.
The 7 doesn’t have a problem with interference from other sonars, but I can’t say other sonars won’t have trouble around the 7. Too many “other” sonars out there and old ones.
Someone did post the other day they had a Vex 20 next to a 7 without any trouble.

Can’t speak to the updates, but I was very impressed with the IR. I fished with a “7” and FL-18 down the same hole. No interference on either. I thought maybe the “flickering” issue with the “7” was just maybe that, but running both separately or at the same time didn’t change / affect reading whatsoever. Very impressed with the IR of the “7”. Hope the upgrades bring the rest of issues up to that level.
